well, a year ago I was in the dark driving thru pouring rain when I saw the light of the sign. I drove back out to a gas station, got out the ole laptop and made a reservation then drove back. And the rest is history. Steven is a very nice guy. I'm a fan of unlit places (seeing more stars is good for the soul) so this area (not far from Kinderhook is both dark, safe and convenient (Kinderhook is nearby.) I had been on the road, a nostalgia tour: Ithaca, Irving, Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Syracuse and the bed was the most comfy I slept on. However, to show there is a balanced view---my significant other prefers cotton sheets to...I dunno. Like I could tell.

Pool was out of service it was cold and the thermostat was not working the male receptionist was very rude. My door was broken and made a lot of noise. Had someone complain about my door making too much noise told reception that my door was broken he did not care told me to go to bed at 11 so I don’t have to keep coming in and out my room, which was ridiculous. Should’ve put me in a room with a door that wasn’t broken. I will not go to this place again.

Great location for our needs, close to Albany, close to a lot of great activities in local towns: ===Hudson River Cruises=== Historic homes like Olana in Catskill===Candle making at Poured Candle Bar n Hudson, with great food for lunch at Grazin' Spirits next door=======Museums like Albany Institute of History & Art and great Restaurants (If you like Greek, dont miss Athos) in Albany=======Zoom Flume in East Durham (if you're there all day, rent a cabana, its worth it!)======We lucked out that there was a Street Fair in Athens, lots of fun----------and an easy drive to our ultimate destination, Oak Hill and Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival...Look for the All-Skeletons house en route from Coxsackie to Oak Hill!===== Coxsackie itself doesnt have much: But there is a Tops Grocery store, Pauls Pizza delivered and was very good, and right down the road is the Hi-Way Drive In Movies, which was a blast... The girls loved it!

Location was great-on the outskirts of town so if we wanted to dine out it was convenient. We chose to stay in and get food delivered. Ordered from Paul’s Pizza which I would definitely recommend. Our check in was also great. Employee was so friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast options were great.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the refrigerator did not work, and some of the plugs are loose, that cause some light to flicker and the clock not work. All and all it is a nice place.
